The printing process takes about 12 hours. Afterwards, the parts must cool down inside the printer for 48 hours to prevent internal stress. Only then can the so-called print cake (the powder-filled build volume) be opened. Like a miniature excavation site, the grips are carefully uncovered using suction and brushes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Next, the grips are blasted to remove remaining powder from pores and fine details. They are then dyed to achieve the characteristic MESHPRO black. Without this step, the parts would remain light gray and prone to discoloration.
